From her time spent flying helicopters to international diplomacy, Allison brings a wealth of rich experiences and perspectives to her readers.  As a children's book author, she shares inspiring stories of exploration that teach children to be brave, try new things, and treat everyone with respect.

While she loved to explore all stretches of her imagination through writing, playing, and acting as a child, Allison still finds ways to keep her curiosity and the joy of discovery alive as an adult.  She is a life-long learner and an advocate for well-rounded education.  Allison incorporates world knowledge, adventure, and a touch of magic into each story to inspire readers to keep exploring.

Allison has a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Comparative Area Studies and a Master of Science in Global Leadership.  She has worked in business in corporate America, diplomacy and defense, and even as an Editor-in-Chief for a non-profit magazine.

Whether around the world or in her own backyard, Allison loves to travel, explore new foods and customs, and spend time with loved ones.
